What is SEND?
SEND stands for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. A child has SEN if they have a learning difficulty or disability that requires special educational provision beyond what is normally available in a mainstream setting.
EHC Plans
An Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan is a legal document that describes a child's special educational needs and the support they require. Schools display how many pupils with EHC plans they support.
