Leigh Academy Snowfields

Leigh Academy Snowfields is a special free school located in Maidstone, Kent, at Popesfield Way. Catering to students aged 11 to 18 with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), this mixed-gender institution serves a diverse community with approximately 303 pupils enrolled, though it has a capacity for 372. Since opening in September 2020, the school has expanded its reach with additional campuses in Cranbrook and Minster, offering the same curriculum across its sites. Under the leadership of Principal Dee Pickerill, Leigh Academy Snowfields provides a nurturing environment grounded in the values of being kind, working hard, communicating effectively, staying safe, and being happy. The school does not offer boarding or nursery classes, but it does have a sixth form, known as Pathfinder College, enabling students to continue their education up to the age of 18.
