Shireland Biomedical UTC is a mixed secondary university technical college located at 350 High Street, West Bromwich, West Midlands, B70 8DJ. Catering to students aged 11 to 19, this unique institution specializes in healthcare and health sciences, marking its distinction as the first UTC in the UK with such a focus. The current enrollment stands at 419 pupils, with a capacity for 600, reflecting a diverse community that includes 181 boys and 238 girls. The school serves a broad catchment area, welcoming students from across the six towns of Sandwell: Wednesbury, Oldbury, Smethwick, Tipton, West Bromwich, and Rowley Regis.
