Birdsedge First School

Birdsedge First School is a small primary academy located in the picturesque village of Birdsedge, on the outskirts of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Catering to a mixed-gender cohort of 55 pupils aged 4 to 10, the school embraces its rural setting, surrounded by the rolling hills of the Upper Dearne Valley. As part of the Mast Academy Trust, Birdsedge First School serves a close-knit community, fostering strong ties with local organizations and church groups. Despite a capacity for 90 students, the intentionally small size helps maintain a personalized learning experience.
